What is the Kaaba in Islam?
Kaaba is Home of Allah in Islam.
Kaaba: From Hazrat Ibrahim (as) to the present day
In the middle of the Masjid al-Haram is a rectangular building which is the qiblah of the Muslims and is worshiped facing it. ۔
The Baitullah was a rectangular building without a roof, with open doors on either side that were level with the ground and through which every special and ordinary person was allowed to pass. They are the ones that Hazrat Ibrahim (as) kept with him. This style of house of God persisted for centuries until the Quraysh converted it in 604 AD for the protection of financial interests as the vows and offerings of the pilgrims were stolen.
Inside the present Kaaba are three pillars and two roofs. There was another door parallel to the door of the Ka'bah. Inside the Kaaba, the Iraqi member has a chapter of repentance, 50 steps leading to the roof of the Kaaba. The ceiling is a piece of glass that transmits natural light. Inside the Ka'bah, marble stones have been carved and precious curtains have been hung, while a box based on ancient instructions has also been placed inside.
The current Kaaba building was last constructed and expanded in 1996, and its foundations were refilled. The level of the Kaaba is about two meters high while the building is 14 meters high. The walls of the Ka'bah are more than one meter wide and its northern half-circle is called Hatim. Goes
Hatim or Hajar Ismail A wall on the north side of the Ka'bah on which Tawaf is performed is said to have been part of the Ka'bah.
